As most of you already know I’m learning to crochet.
And so I’ve got a blanket in progress upstairs using the granny square stitch, and another downstairs using a mesh/trellis stitch. They are coming along nicely (I think). I work on one, or the other, each day for a little while at a time, usually after eating lunch or dinner. =) Later on I plan on tackling some things that are a bit more complex or detailed, but for now it’s good practice. =D
I was running out of the multi colored yarn, and the store was out at the time, so I started a beige border on it. I snagged a multi-color not long after so I’ve switched back. I’m thinking of doing multi-colored, and then a band of beige and a band of multi color to finish.
I’m alternating the pink and the purple strips as I go with this one. I think it looks pretty so far. =)
